Open hexIT and install it to your desktop.

hexIT installs straight from your browser. No setup file, no account. Use Chrome or Edge on desktop and you are done in about a minute.

Open hexIT Your browser will ask for the access password the first time. Enter the one your admin gave you.

Install in four steps

  1. Open hexITClick the green Open hexIT button above. When the browser asks, type the access password for the beta.
  2. Let it load in Chrome or EdgehexIT opens in a new tab and runs right away. Desktop install needs Chrome or Edge. Firefox and Safari can use the app in the browser but cannot install it to the desktop.
  3. Click InstallUse the install icon in the address bar, or the Install button at the top right inside hexIT. Either one starts the install.
  4. Confirm the prompthexIT installs to your Start menu and taskbar and opens in its own window. After the first load it runs fully offline.
No install icon showing? Make sure you are in Chrome or Edge on a computer, not a phone, and that the page finished loading. Refresh once if needed, then look for the install icon in the address bar.
