The short version
hexIT runs in your browser. It needs no account, shows no ads, and uses no tracking. Your colors and settings stay on your own device. We do not sell or share your data, because we do not collect it.
What hexIT stores
Everything you create in hexIT lives on the device and browser you use it on:
- Your base colors, quick color pots, and Pro color libraries.
- Your settings, such as your light or dark preference.
This data is saved in your browser's local storage. It is not uploaded to us or to any server. Clearing your browser data for this app removes it. To move your work to another machine, you export a .hexIT backup file that you control.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, names, or passwords inside the app.
- No analytics or behavior tracking.
- No advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
This website
This site is a set of static pages. It loads no third-party trackers or ad networks. Like most websites, the hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These logs are handled by the host and are used for security and to keep the site running.
The area that opens and installs the app is password protected. Access is limited to people the site owner approves.
If you email info@hexit-app.com, we receive your message and your email address. We use them only to reply and to follow up on your question. We do not add you to marketing lists.
Children
hexIT is a tool for color work and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this notice as the app grows. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page.
